Ather Energy Opens New Experience Center in Birtamod

Ather Energy has expanded its presence in Nepal with the launch of a new Ather Experience Center in Birtamod.

The showroom officially came into operation on Sunday under the management of Bhurtel Energy Pvt. Ltd., marking the company’s continued expansion in eastern Nepal.

With the addition of the Birtamod outlet, Ather Nepal now operates 11 Experience Centers across the country. The company’s network currently includes multiple facilities inside Kathmandu Valley along with outlets in Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari, Butwal, and Janakpur.

Ather has also been expanding its after-sales infrastructure with 10 authorized service centers currently in operation nationwide.

The newly opened Birtamod Experience Center will display the company’s complete electric scooter lineup, including the sporty Ather 450 series and the family-focused Ather Rizta.

The Ather 450 range targets riders looking for performance-oriented electric mobility and comes equipped with features such as touchscreen instrumentation, navigation support, multiple ride modes, reverse mode, AutoHold, and connected technology features.

Meanwhile, the Ather Rizta has been positioned as a practical family scooter with a larger seat, increased storage capacity, traction control, theft alerts, and daily commuting-focused comfort features. The company says the model has been designed to cater to modern urban riders seeking convenience and practicality in an electric scooter.

Customers visiting the new facility in Birtamod will be able to explore the scooters through live displays and test rides while also receiving information regarding financing, exchange schemes, charging infrastructure, and EV ownership support.

Ather Nepal stated that it is also strengthening charging accessibility in eastern Nepal through its growing Ather Grid charging network.

The company currently operates fast charging points in locations including Birtamod, Dharan, and Itahari, with plans for further expansion in the coming months.

The company is additionally offering an extended battery warranty of up to eight years for customers in Nepal.

To mark the opening of the Birtamod Experience Center, Ather has also announced limited-period customer schemes valid until Jestha 17, 2083, including financing offers, battery warranty benefits, and exchange bonuses for buyers shifting to electric mobility.
